From what i understand, the HOLE he fell in wasnt quite big enough for the whole K5, just half of it. This did happen at about 1:30 AM...... And for some reason the words "liquid courage" come to my mind.

Sorry to say it, but if that 1st Gen guy was wheeling drunk he deserves everything he got, and probably worse!

Once nightfall comes and the campfires are lit (and the drivers are too)....the keys should stay in your pockets and OUT of the ignitions!!!! Sounds too much like the drunken buffoonery that takes place on the Rubicon Trail on a weekly basis.... God help us all when the Eco-Nazis get video footage of that kind of crap, and use it against ALL of us.

That looks a like a lot of carnage! I bet it was fun before it happened! :thumb:

On a different note, I hope they didn't pull that truck out of being stuck from the carnage with that clevis sitting in the tow hook?

No truss,it busts....

I'm suprised they didn't at least have a truss on that front end, even with one your pushing your luck with tires that big....Oh well,a good time to test out that onboard welder ---

I think the owner of that (used to be)mint first generation K5 should be ashamed of himself for wrecking a nice truck like that--like there isnt enough being destroyed already--there are plenty of beaters and rotboxes to thrash off road--why wreck a nice one??--I hope the shifter knob got him in the nuts!!

thank you Greg for speaking up!

i couldn't agree more! all you dumb a$$ wheelin while drunk

As for all you "purists" a coat of paint does not a gem make. This is CK5 not I don't wanna wheel .com just cause you all prefer web wheeling don't push that on the rest of us. Drinking, ya if involved sucks, but happens and again if involved did its damage.

However the wheelin' looked pretty sweet, where was that? Eastern? or somewhere on the westside?

SOUNDS LIKE CRYBABIES , ARE YOU IN IT TO LOOK COOL IN A LIFTED TRUCK, OR TO WHEELE FOR THE SPORT OF GETTING THE FULL SIZES DOWN JEEP TRAILS. :p:

Well, here are the few pics that I got this weekend. The first is Ryans 86 and the others (sorry they are dark) are Rudy's First Gen in the hole. Here is the story w/ both of them, since I was in each rig when both happened...

What happened is that I was driving Ryans Blue K5, we found this big hole... didn't want to take the blue one in it so we went and told Rudy about it. We all hopped in his rig and went up there and he jumped in.... chose a bad line, and well... $hit happens. No biggie, and he isn't going to cry over spilled milk or dented sheetmetal. He isn't happy about the dents, but he isn't going to bitch either. SOOOOooooo, Ryan and I walk back (a ways....) and get his Blazer to go tow out Rudy, since his winch didn't seem to be working. We got back and Rudy had got the winch working and pulled himself out. Ryan turns around and starts back down and we have NO BRAKES so we tagged a big dirt berm at about 40 mph... yeah, it hurt like a bastard. We sat for a minute, then drove out trying to go slow and he slid sideways on some ice... so he asked me to drive cause it scarred the piss out of him. I got in, started backing SLOWLY down the road and the front end fell apart... So there is the story...

WOW! So where was all this happening? A few of us here on McChord still don't know where to go for all the action.
