Just bought a CUCV for $625.

That would take awhile.

1975 K5 Blazer - needs a heater core, runs and drives.
1982 K30 3+3 - runs and drives, but needs a lot of little things, is no longer insured, and should probably be sold, I just am not much for selling rigs.
1984 M1008 - needs a starter
1985 K5 - smashed up front end, blown engine - no longer insured, I have started robbing parts off of it
1987 V10 - has a fuel delivery issue
1988 V10 Suburban - been driving it, needs a heater core.
1989 V10 Suburban - smashed front end, needs a new clip, or sold, or parted.
1990 Blazer - needs wheel bearing in the front right, among other things.

Plus a lot of parts vehicles.

I am a great example of why not to have multiple projects.

Man, that sounds really shotty work. I never understood that. I mean I understand the rush for something to get done, but for it to fail early or be a pain when it fails to repair it.. it's not worth it. I hope you got to talk him down on price because of these

Huh?

Martin

I think he was talking to me.

He really seemed to believe that his truck was made of solid gold. I thought about it and decided that it was a better starting point than anything else I had (or have) seen, so I decided to get it and fix up the hack work as I go along. And stuff like that is still cropping up. The transmission cooler lines block access to the starter motor. The battery cables are too short. The flex-plate cover is missing. Almost every bodily fluid has leaked. And so on... :doah:

It's a project, that's for sure.

With 2 of the 6 mounts cut off it did. That was with a DIY4X shackle flip.

Martin

Which two did you cut? I'm guessing the ones closest to the rear of the truck.

Yeah, I have no use for them. RichZ28 is first in line I believe.
