I was watching devils rejects the other day, which on a side note is one of my favorite movies, but anyway the sheriff drove a mid 80's blazer. Got me thinking what other movies/tv shows had our rides in them. I Believe the Fall Guy drove a 70's half ton. All I can think of right now, anyone else?

Not really Hollywood, but there's a red/white K5 used in one of the newer Arby's commercials.
I thought the Fall Guys truck was an early 80's K10?

health inspector with larry the cable guy, and The last action hero, with arnold, has a full covertible with a big azz lift.

In Enemy of the State, Jason Lee (wildlife photographer) drives a Blazer or Jimmy. Haven't seen the movie in awhile though for details. Lots of burbs throughout the movie (Government of course).

That new show Saving Grace with Holly Hunter, her partner drives a nice looking solid black k5. Looks like a 4in. lift with 35's.

that movie 'blades of steel' or something with will ferrel and the napolean dynamite kid had a blazer in it.

also a k30 in dantes peak or something

i just saw that new arbys commercial with the skinny dippin and i was like aww yeah!! my gf was not happy about that till she saw the blazer lol!

In a sci-fi commercial theres one where the person drives up, gets out, hits a button, and it turns into a brief case. Pretty sweet.

Jaws 2 the sheriff drives one, can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I know theres tons more.

There is a thread on this from a while ago, there are alot of movies with K5's in them it turns out.

Yup it was in the Lounge but can't think of any off the top of my head. That one in Last Action hero is badass. I just watched that movie the other day :D

iirc, that other thread got really big.

there's a semi-new arby's commercial where a chick gets naked and jumps into a lake and instead of following her in, the guy jumps in his red k5, peels out (looks like it's in 4wd), and goes to arby's. he made a bad choice. he'll return to an upset pruney-skinned chick with clothes on and he might get his sandwich soggy. if he eats it on the way, then swims, he might get a cramp and drown. on the other hand, who wants to "do the deed" on an empty stomach? i would have taken the naked chick with me because drivethroughs are boring, otherwise :pimp:

the park ranger chick drives a k5/jimmy in "broken arrow". some cool hummers in that movie, too. just a side note.

i think van dam drove a blazer in one of his early 90's flicks. he had a bad mullet (as if there's ever been a good mullet :haha:).

There is that real nice one in Earthquake that Charlton Heston drives. It's got a great split top on it. Open behind the driver but still has top on the back third. Never seen another top like it and I looked for one for myself.

I thought the Fall Guys truck was an early 80's K10?

Colt's truck was an early '80s GMC 4x4 pickup that had a 4 inch lift and 38 inch Dick Cepeck off road tires mounted on a 16 inch chrome wagon style wheel. The truck also had a custom made chrome roll bar with 4 off road lights mounted on it and a custom built chrome grille guard with 2 off road lights and a Warn winch mounted to it. One of the unusual characteristics was the secret compartment in the bed used to stash away the bad guys or to hide weapons, etc. The truck was painted brown and tan tu-tone, and had an eagle painted on the hood with the phrase "Fall Guy Stuntman Assosiation" under it.

The truck was noted for almost always being involved in high speed chases and making huge jumps. As a result, it became very popular especially with children with numerous toys and models of the truck produced. It should be noted that during the show's run, the stunts took their toll on the trucks so several different year model trucks are used during the show's initial run. As a result there are some inconsistancies that can be noted in the episodes. For instance in the pilot episode, the truck has two square headlights and a light tan interior. It was a 1980 model. In the remainder of the series the truck almost always had the quad headlight configuration of the 1981 and newer models with a dark brown interior.

The truck appeared to always be a long bed model but in a couple of episodes a short bed model was used. After totaling several trucks due to the huge jumps, a custom built jump truck was built as a solution. It had a reinforced frame and axles, and a mid-mounted engine. This greatly reduced the amount of scrapped trucks the show was experiencing. At the end of the series the remaining trucks were either auctioned off or given away in a contest. It is unspeculated on how many still exist or their where abouts but one of them was sold on Ebay in 2003.
