I hadn't seen anyone mention the green park ranger Blazer from Broken Arrow yet. Of course it gets blown up too.

Death of the Commando Blazer

I know the Blazer in Commando has been mentioned several times. I always loved that truck and pause the movie and look at it every time. It looks like it's a '73 or '74 that has had the grille changed to a '77 in the close up scenes. You can also see that it was yellow before it was painted blue when he opens the hood and you can see the firewall. I took some vidcaps.

Check out the yellow firewall and the freaking sweet HK-91 with side by side mag clip.

'77 grille and what looks like a tow bar mount. Man I wish I had this truck and they could have destroyed something else.

The '73/'74 grille is back in but ugh, that's going to be a hard landing.

Cringe.

I wonder if they just left the K5 where it crashed or if they tow the wreck out. Would be cool to go back and see if any parts remain.

hey guys, look @ pic in post #263. you think maybe that door is misaligned like that b/c of body flex due to it going into a left hand turn?

in commando,im sure they used more than one blazer to get all those shots.good catch on the grill though.

Wrangler jeans commercial Dale Jr. is behind the wheel of a Red SWB 73-87 P/U. Later in the commercial it gives you a glimpse of the side of the cab, but i didn't see enough of it to determine what year she is.

In Road House some of the thugs get out of a nice stock K5 parked next to the big Ford monster truck outside of the Double Deuce bar.
