You spent hours butchering a perfectly good core support and now you have no place to put any marker lights. I bet you eliminated the brakelight buckets also. You butchered a perfectly good pair of fenders when you could have used some flatstock to hook the top of the core support to the cab. Furthermore, it would have been stronger.
Honestly, by the time you get done you could have fabricated your own. Since you said it'd be primarily used on the trail you might as well.
