K10 Back-half Revamp! **posted wheelin' pics**

I've never seen one come back that far and turn down but i would say unless you're really jumping or beating this thing around it'll hold for awhile. Just throw a wire hanger in the truck for good measure. trust me ;)

I know it's redneck but it does work.

BTW what happened with all the overspray on the cab?? :eek1:

Had a blast yesterday :D

We were so busy havin fun that this is the only pic we got :(

Looks great dude! Great day to be up on Bald. I never did that trail in the summer. It's fun in the snow though :D

Frizz and I did a snow run up at bald earlier this year and it was fun... TONS of snow though, good thing he has beadlocks and 42's :)

Very nice. What psi did you run all day??those tires don't look like they squat too much. or you just need to go more to break them in.:)

Just FYI man, I got those same poly urethane bumpstops and when they get compressed enough(like mine did unfortunarely), they totaly rip apart. Let me know if you got the same luck I got. nice job too.

I kept it pretty high and ran 14 the whole time. It was low enough to take the edge off of the bumps but not so low that I had to give losing a bead a second thought. If I had traction issues I could have always gone lower.

Hmmm well I could see if I was riding around on them 24/7 (like an overloaded truck bed) but if I just hit them every once in a while they better not come apart. If they do I'll be on the phone with Poly Performance having a chat. :wink1:

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I love summer wheeling in the Sierra's!

Hyjack: Looks like Bald Mnt. is bone dry, so do you know if the club has opened Dusy Ershim early? Or Swamp?

I don't know for sure but I'd imagine they're open. We had a couple patches of snow here and there in the shade of the trees but other than that everything had melted.

Avery the over spray will come off with acetone on a rag pretty easy and shouldnt hurt your CURED automotive paint. Work fast if your worried but I have cleaned spray paint off cured auto paint several times with acetone thn wipe it off with a wet paper towel.

Either that or color sand.

Thanks for the tips... I sort of didn't care since it'll all be covered up but I guess for the sake of knowing it's done right I'll wipe it off before mounting my tool box and fuel cell. :)

nice wheeling pics! sure wish we had rocks and ledges like that around here... hell, i wish we had anything around here!
