K10: Built HP60/241-205 Doubler/tons of tube

Would you mind telling what that setup ran you?

It's all on AFI's site. It was right at $1k done and shipped to my door. The only things I changed that adjusted the price was a big cap distributor (so I didn't have to have an external coil) and I had them extend the length on the harness so I had plenty of slack to mount the computer in the cab.
Oh and on the subject of the harness, this thing is beautiful! Completely labeled and the quality of the wire itself is really nice.

Nice dude! Thats really pretty good price!

That's what I thought. For the throttle body, custom harness with all new wiring/connectors/relays, computer, distributor, fuel pump/filter, gaskets/hardware and all new sensors and good install info it's hard to beat.

I think it should treat you really well and give you just the truck i think you want. Are you just going to try running the external fuel pump and see if it works out for you? OR do you have plans for internal?

I'm going to try the one that's here in the kit. I'll mount it back on the frame by my fuel cell and let it push up to the throttle body. I see no reason why it won't work. I'm going to run new feed/return lines while I'm at it.

So you're going to put that setup on your 305? I'll be watching this closely while I still have a 305 in my truck. :thumb:

Better than ANY carburetor for what you are going to do. Nice upgrade!

Too many fandangle electronics and wiring. :)
I'm fine with carbs for now.

I know, I caved in and wanted to go propane but I just couldn't get past the whole fuel availability issue. Then when I found this I couldn't pass it up for the price. :)

thats why i posted it up over on bigdawgs. for the same price as buying a new pane setup (give or take) i think you'll get everything you need out of this easy peasy.

That would be a perfect choice for my 77 come to think of it! I hate you Avery! And by hate, i mean "am extremely jealous of".

O man that's a big ol mess. Should look really nice when done. So, what was holding it to the firewall under the windshield? Tacs or bolts?
