L29's are factory roller cam blocks too. Just throwing that one out there.
Plus if one would be planning on keeping EFI on an L29 and have better control of the later LS style 0411 ECM, it's just a matter of swapping a couple of items to make it like an L21. L21's were medium-duty only but have the same coil near plug ignition that the LS engines and the 8.1L big-block has. You lose the distributor and gain better tuning ability with a 24x reluctor wheel. The 0411 ECM is an overall better unit than what the L29 is normally driven by.
