No, a Mexican ride height would be a little taller with 13" wire wheels sticking out 5 inches from the body. That black beauty is Shecksay just as it is.It is indeed nice, except for the Mexican ride height...
GrrrOh yeah, the steering box needs to be changed as well. Unless your going for crossover steering in which case your a step ahead....

Yeah, I worship that K5.
Mine will be getting the same treatment as that Blazer![]()

Seems like a waste to me. Am I the only one who hates two wheel drive Blazers???

That's like hating all 2WD trucks... There's no point. My K5 is very useful vehicle for me, and I've shifted it into 4WD like, twice... If it were 2WD, the IFS may even make it ride better on the street.
Hell, the Tahoe is just a "new" 4-door Blazer, essentially. Actually, NOT essentially. It IS what the Blazer evolved into, so, take that for what it's worth.
What does that have to do with anything???
In the south, yes, they do sell a metric sh*t ton of 2wds. Around here, 4wd is a neccesity born of snow and ice. True, for most people, a 2wd is all that is necessary. I won't even look at a truck or suv around here if it's 2wd, unless it's a 2wd Blazer or some other classic that I plan on never driving in the winter. It has a lot to do with this... They sell a sh!t ton of Tahoes & Yukons in 2WD. Obviously there's a huge market for a large, truck-based vehicle with a good amount of cargo space, yet no need for 4WD.
For the average consumer, 4WD only adds dead weight and more cost to an otherwise ideal vehicle.
If my Blazer was 2WD, it would be exactly as useful to me, and I'd like it just the same.
