Yes they are pot metal, I think I have a couple decent ones. Probably not good enough for you. But they are above average. If your interested.

They need a good cleaning, but they don't appear pitted or damaged.

I found two pairs of bezels in my garage,I think one pair I saved off a '73 K-10,the others do not have the grille surround things ,they are just the square part that surrounds the headlamp..

I do not know what year or model square body those bezels came off of,I found them in the metal pile at the dump and took them hoping I could adapt or use them on my 81 G-10 van,it seems no one makes re-pops for the single round headlamp style on 78-82 vans,only the rectangular 4 headlamp style..weird the grille on my van is the same as a 73-80 pickup,but they put cheap plastic headlamp bezels on it that shatter like glass after they got old & brittle..

My originals were in bad shape. Acquired a nice silver set and pained them a number of years ago. Used a flatter black bumper paint and promoter.
Need to be redone again.
