Keeping your $$$ shocks safe..

4 shotguns, trip wire and broom......

Next morning sweep up the remainder of the would be thief.

or "Summit"..... :haha:

Use a holesaw to drill a hole through the center of the shock and wrap a cable around the frame and then through the freshly drilled hole and padlock it...

jeez.... do I have to think of everything around here ?

:haha::haha::haha:
No, you just have to be the logical one! :waytogo::haha:

I did this with my Bilstiens.... Ugly as sin... No one will want them. :haha:

No way im painting these. What happens if i ever want to sell them to upgrade? Nobody will want ugly painted shocks... And come on these things look sweet.

I love the left hand bolt idea. No special tools required, and only you will know :-)

Also might thing about engraving some sort of identifier somewhere hidden so if they did get stolen and recovered you can prove they are yours.

Put a piece of blcycle inner tube over each one so they look like Napa specials.

EVERY metal component on my rig, was stamped 'VM6040'.

Only I know what it means.
And, it makes finding yer stolen goods easier.

Harbor freight sells a metal stamp set, for like $5...

Get you some stickers that say "BINFORD 9000". Solves many problems all at once.

I actually saw this once, though I think homey had Rancho 9000's, but had stickers made up in the right color, size and typeface to go over the "Rancho."

Oh, wait, you prolly weren't even BORN when that was on the air ... :doah:

I use BR-549.........:dunno:

For an address, I use 79 Wistful Vista..........

Hows that for old?

This is a ****in new guy question; what sort of temperatures do shocks get to? Then how hot will these new shocks end up getting? How do you suppose Plasti Dip would hold up? I know you're against changing the look and I'm not really trying to change your mind, just curious if anybody has any experience or practical information as to whether or not that would be an option.

I can't believe nobody has recommended these. Bright green maybe? No one would want them.

If it doesn't stop them from stealing, maybe it will deter them while they're laughing their asses off.

I have been known to use 742 Evergeen Terrace. Not as old, but still more than Deuling.

The purple would have to do, I guess, 'cuz they don't have hot pink.

Mine aren't exactly like Dueling's but similar and I've had them hot enough you don't touch them. So over 150°.

Ive got my ideas set with the anti theft nuts recessed in tubing.

No i will not paint, tape, discolor my shocks, or put boots.

Boots will not fit anyways... And i have the badass plastic rock guards anyways :dunno:

(yes they need trimming on the bottom)
