knixon804 k5 blazer one ton and ls swap

Which Schoenfeld headers are those? The ones that i know fit had the O2 sensor port pointing into the front shackle not straight up like the one pictured
they are the updated 1302ls headers. i made a thread about it in another section. they must of listened
 
cleaning up my engine bay and i cant figure out what these 2 sets of wires are. the first one comes out of the firewall on the passenger side right by the ac wiring, the second one comes out on the drivers side right by the main bulkhead fitting..i dont think either of them were plugged in on my 305.



 
ordered some VHX gauges and the OBD2 port interface. i ending up getting black back ground and white back lighting

also my cam and springs came in from BTR. their service and prices are hard to beat!

lastly i ended up ordering all the stuff to rebuild the 6.0. i wanted to make sure everything is fresh while it was torn down since the motor has unknown miles
 
What did you pay for the gauges if you don't mind my asking? And the OBD interface.....does that use the OBD port to pick up the info for the gauges? Thanks

I am using the OBD 2 port for speed and trans temp. when I swapped the t cases I lost my cable speed sensor. The vss on the t case put out a pulse for speed and making my Trans shift properly. My jeep has a 408/4l80e combo in it and it shifts and runs perfect.

Got the motor all tire down. bring it to the local machine shop to get cleaned. everything looked perfect inside. which is pretty impressive considering it has 270k on it!

Nice, is that the 5.3 or the 6.0?

I've got an aluminum 5.3 lined up out of an Envoy with 367k miles (and still daily driven) on it. I'm interested in seeing that it looks like inside!

i am using the 5.3 in this.


im swapping the cam to a BTR 3 truck cam and replacing some of the internals for a customer of mine.
 
Just curious what the box is on the left with the OBD2 connector? I really like those gauges man. How much did those end up costing you overall?

It's a obd2 interface so I can use the speed that the ecm reads off my vss to run my speedo. I can adjust the ratio so Trans shifts correctly and the speedo is spot on per application. the gauge set up was about $740

What motor mounts / block plates did you use to mount the engine? Also, did you keep the truck mounted A/c compressor on the engine?
