lack of k5s in junk yards

I built my K5 (now sold) in ‘04-‘05 era, tons of them in the yards. I haven’t really seen any since cash for clunkers. The 3 yards I visit, it’s been years since they had a K5, i have the Row52 app for the IPhone so I get either inventory alerts or can check online.
