Leaking/smoking radiator

wow I should have looked over your work more better. So which wire is going to fans right now. I have the Blue to Fans. The white should be on the temp sensor. I need to now what that red wire on sensor is, is 12v power?
Your thing said Blue to fans, I have red to red, White goes to the red that goes to the firewall which I guess is the 12v ignition . Black to fire wall as ground

The there is black wire on back of the fans that goes to the battery and red wire on back of the fans to the temp sensor..

ok take the red ire from the temp sensor and replace that with a black wire to ground. tape up the red wire as I assume is either battery or keyed hot.
That red wire is on the fans I think it's the power wire and the black is ground

Only two wires come off the fans, the red one and a black one... red was to temp sensor and black went to the battery.

call me, if the fans were wired through the temp sensor the is no need for the relay. I am not sure if the sensor can handle the amp draw from the fans

It was working fine for 6 years until it all fure went bad and the one price melted a bit hahahahaha.

I don't see why I can't just mimic t where the new wires were before with the ones. The only difference is the old one had a green and this new one has a black one. Both would have the middle wire cut off.

Take the old one and put the wires into the same place and connection as the old one...

cant say i am not sure ho it was wired before. doesn't make sense to me why there would be a relay, if the sensor is wired straight to fans

that is a fuse, and I am guessing that wire spliced in is battery hot
Yes... I think you're correct. So, can I just mimic this set up with the new wires etc?

So it would be black to ground instead of blue and blue to the fans and snip the yellow wire
