Lets see some IFS rigs...

!!!!! I've always wondered what's up with the missing front headlight and/or reflector???

When I went to the Tulare Diesel pulls they did that too... is it some sort of class identification?

Nah, cold air intake filter is right there, and it didn't make a lick of difference:haha:. First and only time I wasted my time pulling that out!:D

I think I'd have to buy the $100 kit since I have a 2500, I was under the impression they got bigger t-bars up front (plus mine is a big block crew cab)

You should have said yours was a 2500 earlier. Ford keys don't lift the 2500's up like they do the 1500's. But stock 1500 keys act like ford keys for a 2500.

And I have my stock 1500 keys I could sell you if you want them...

In this era IFS truck the t-bars are all the same at the ends. The difference is in the thickness (ie spring rate) of the rest of the bar. This is why you can put a set of high GVWR torsion bars out of a K3500 into a K1500 without any difficulties. The keys changed with the 99+ body style though so higher rate bars require the appropriate keys for that bar.

Ok i think i i have it now. I told my dad about this today and he said if you buy a set of w/e you're lookin at buy me a set.

I think i'll go with the keys and and add-a-leaf cause i like that idea the best.

As for running 6"+blocks i am with you there :doah:

It's really nice when your screwin around with a ricer or a mustang and you go whizzin' by Johnny Law. Who do you think he pulls over- the white "City DPW" lookin truck, or the obvious catch:wink1:

I blame aychdee! Just cause I told him they were impossible to find, I found and bought my dream rig today!

Man, I'm yankin' the factory alloys off of mine. I got a set of used Alcoas that are wider for my next set of tires (302/70r16). They're only 6.5" wide. I'll probably use them to pretty up the trailer, though.:D

Nice find man!!!!!! Welcome to the regular cab durallison club:woot:
First thing I'd do is to get a programmer or EFILive. Not so much for the increase in power (although it is sweet) But I pushed my mileage to 22-24 mpg highway and 17-19 city!!!!!:yikes: just by programming it and then I put an intake and exhaust on it. It breathes SOOOOO much nicer now.
Just my $.02:wink1:

PS that thing will tow SOOOO nice as well!

That truck ain't getting anything more than a set of factory aluminum wheels and a remote starter :D

Sign up at Dieselplace.com. They have a metric buttload of 'PYO' wheels in the classifieds section. (PYO is the rpo code for the factory alloys:wink1:)
They're usually pretty cheap and have brand new rubber on them sometimes.
