Lets see some IFS rigs...

I replaced the green 97 truck with this 99 yukon. stole all the lights ect. off the truck. It has flowtech headers throttle body spacer a high flow cat (that I cant remember the name of) magna flow muffler. GOt the 18's off my brother after his 04 got totalled he traded me for the tires that came on the yukon and I had to buy 1 wheel that was bent beyond repair. Dont recall the tire size off the top of my head but they are near 35" tall and around 10-11 wide. they rub the top of the front fender wells. The front is low I think the P.O. decranked the TB's:doah:

If the front sits just a little nose-down, that's the way it's supposed to be. Looks pretty nice with the new lights on it.

It actually sits a lot nose down. I have noticed other yukons and tahoes sit a little nose down, mine looks like it has add a leafs in the back and no front lift. If you look at the side pic I can put all 4 fingers and thumb between the rear tire and the fender with a bit of room to spare. The front however I can only get 2 fingers between the tire and the fender.

Now that I described that the kinkiest way I can heres another thought.
I HATE the 18's! they ride like crap, they are heavy as hell, they ride like crap, they follow the grooves in the road and they ride like crap, OH and they robbed a ton of power and they ride like crap. When I first got it it rode like a cadillac, put the 18's on and it rides like a mid 70's 3/4 ton.

Anyone want to buy me some 16's in trade for these? :haha::haha:

EDIT: Looking at the pics you cant tell what Im talking about cuz the gravel part of the driveway is not level (its actually trying to flex in those pics) LOL And the other pic still has the little 245x16's on the back because I hadent bought the 4th wheel yet.

Didn't ever post any pics of my truck with the new tires and fender & bumper cut out i don't think. It works for me now :D Other than the much needed SAS of course. Maybe soon

Started to pull all the trim and pin striping after this pic plus its got a LOT bigger dent on the extended cab part of it. :eek1:

Those Mickey Thompson's look good on there. I was always impressed with the ride and lack of flat spots when I used to run MT Baja Claws. If it wasn't for the price I'd still be running them.

Yeah at $300/tire i doubt i can afford to go back to them. 17" wheels are nice but dayum

This is the truck in my sig. Couple years ago had a tree fall on it during a storm. Now it has a cowl hood and custom paint because of it. The body shop had to repaint the entire truck anyways so I had them add some blue pearl in with the black paint. You don't even know it's different till the sun hits it just right and the blue stands out. Fit's 285/75/16s with the T-bars tweaked an inch with no rub. Seems to get 11 MPG whether it's empty or towing derby cars, gotta love the 8.1:D

Yikes! Did they straighten the bed side and put a new tailgate on or did they replace the entire bed?
It was all cosmetic damage? No damage to the frame where it it?

I'd almost bed they replaced the bed. Theres no way i'd want them to just straighten it out. Thats a good lookin truck

They replaced the bed with a good used assembly. Was easier/cheaper to just swap it over and paint. Just squashed the bed and I think the tire/wheel in the bed prob prevented more damage. Branches dented up the roof and they had to replace the roof skin but no structural damage. Another one landed across the hood in a spot that couldn't be fixed, had to be replaced. Goodmark hood price was close enough to factory so we went with the upgrade. Plus the custom paint and no emblems or stickers were put back on, only the door moldings.

Some more recent pics of my 1997 k1500. My one and only vehicle right now.
