let's see some sexy engine/bay pics

Need to paint the valve covers and headers...and the body:doah:

I'll throw some specs out:

'79 SBC 350 .030 over (2 bolt main)
Iron Heads (not 2.02s)
Flat Top Pistons
Comp Xtreme 4x4 cam (12-235-2, 1000-5200)
Cloyes Double Roller Timing
MSD (Street Fire) HEI Dizzy
Edelbrock Performer EPS Intake (Non EGR)
Edelbrock Performer 600cfm Carb (1406)
Hedman Hedders (69230's?)
Flex-a-lite Stainless Flex Fan & Spacer
Accel Custom Wireset & Bosch Plugs, 4row radiator, Dorman balancer/dampener, a few other goodies...

Now I just need to get the timing set right and lean out the carb a whole lot, it gets way too much fuel, especially right off idle.

that pic of Chevy305's makes me wish I had built it for a blower...:D

sure, why not...

stock tbi motor... with some other projects..

some relatively substantial changes going on now... motor is now chevy orange, with some black and alum... adding a shock tower tube across the motor.... and hopefully I'll be doing the working cowl hood with air pan...

That is BADASS! Wha5t's the poweerr output? What kind of $$/man-hours is wrapped up into that?If you don't mind me asking,of course?

Haven't dyno'd it since the swap and hotrodding adventures. it makes a bunch though. also, I have a much bigger Switzer 66mm compressor, 71mm turbine on the way to replace the HX40 thats currently on it. there way too much fuel for the HX40.

man hours, maybe 100 so far. it wasn't just an engine swap though. it was a drivetrain conversion. and I rebuilt the 47RH and converted it to 2wd with a divorced Ford NP205/

cost current to date...... including buying the whole donor truck for $2k. about $2k in billet parts for the 47RH. the reman'd and hotrodded P7100 was $1800, more than just bolt on stuff in the pump. turbo $500-ish.
plus everything that nickle and dimes you to death. new hood fenders. freightliner rims, low pro Nitto tires. its definately round the $10,000 mark just in parts. no labor costs though, my time is free. :doah:

650 hp on pump gas, what cam are you running? Some where around .700?
