Lets talk BUMPSTOPS!!

Just an update, and sorry for the hijack, but mine shipped today. They got me for $38 for shipping, so my total was $178.xx. Still better than the $130 a piece for the profender ones plus shipping I was looking at. My wife thanks you Dave:bow:

I got exactly what Dave has. Got them from Burke Spring, just like he said. The part #'s are on the last page.

Check that other supplier too, not sure if they can beat Burke or not, but may be worth a shot?

Already on the way so no big deal, but yeah, shipping to Hawaii strikes again. Oh well, at least I'll have them.

Did you guys get the kit or just the individual bumpstops? also is that price fronts and backs or just one set?

I got just the bumps and it was $130 for all 4 plus shipping. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Oh I agree 100%.

Ok, I got it sorted out. I seen on their website the individual part numbers for the bumpstops. I can cross reference those with the kits and just get what I need.

I'll have to look more into these. I think I am going to have to limit my up travel on the Blazer. Just isnt enough room. Its either bump stops or body panels.:D

Rear bumpstops in S10 blazers look a lot like those timbrens that were posted earlier.

I got mine from Burke spring

and I used the A520-75 setup front and rear.

No luck using that part number at burke... It might be outdated.

They seemed a bit confused and kept trying to look up parts by the year of my truck :doah:. They used to have a vender on Pirate but that venders contact info doesn't work anymore.

Edit:

I called timbren. They said they said that part number is a part within a part. The longer number is A00520-75B10. They have me some info on a local shop that should be able to help me out in person.

I have four coming into my local shop for 27.99 each plus shipping. :woot:

cool Rich, good deal on these still to be had then!

I talked with a gal @ Burke Spring, maybe she don't work there anymore?
I mentioned her name in my thread, she had the knowledge of them.

Just to chime in here, when I ordered mine from Burke I did it online. Part number, add 4 to cart, done. Mine have taken a good beating a few times and look brand new:thumb:

Please link to this, as www.burkespring.com has no shopping cart, only "Add to Quote". Searching for the Timbren part numbers there doesn't work either.

Folks FYI the tall energy suspension bumps will shear off of the mounting plate if subjected to any side loading. For instance on a front application when the axle articulates there is a good amount of side loading.

In general I'd suggest a slightly smaller ES bump as those have held up better for me with a spacer if needed. Next time around I will go with a canister style either air/hydro or poly insert.
