im putting 10 inch lift springs on my 83 k3 to clear 42s. what height springs should i order for the rear to have it sit level? i dont want blocks and if a shackle flip is a better idea id love some feedback

jeesh 10inches?

Shackle flip and get some 6in lift springs. I would also get a little bit longer shackle, since your fronts may be a little higher than 10, so you can fine tune it

i gotta get more lift to keep the body out of the mud as best i can. its a trailered mud truck so im not worried about it being on the road and turning too fast. i mean if 10 inches is overkill i can cut back i just figured it was a good height

well if it is a mud truck then go for it. What are your plans for driveshafts? that would be my only concern with that amount of lift on the short wheelbase

Same way mine is lifted, but lower. I have 6" lift springs with zero rates up front with longer shackles, and home brew stock shackle flip in the rear with 2" iron blocks.

My rear springs aren't stock though, they are 5/4 ton springs. It adds up to about 7-8 inches of lift. All I know is the lowest part of my frame is 27.5 inches off the ground.

Clearing 42's with trimmed fenders.
