lift ? in a 89 v30 crew

All the front springs are the same unless they're custom. :thumb:

Another area that I didn't think was going to be so confusing is the steering arm. Again, I have an 88 V30. Since I can see the universal joint in the knuckle I guess its an open knuckle? The drag link leaves the steering box and runs directly aft to the steering arm which means I don't have crossover steering?

All that being said, what set up do I need in order to run a 4" lift? I've seen posts from those that aren't comfortable with steering arm lift blocks.

What arm do I need and which manufacturer do you recommend?

Thanks in advance! I appreciate the help.

You are correct you don't have crossover steering.

For steering correction you'll need a raised steering arm or a dropped draglink. The idea here is to keep the draglink fairly level.

Side note-I see you are on Whidbey Island. I live in Oak Harbor. Always cool to have members in the local area.

Cool! There are a lot of us in the area, but only a few in town.

I've got an 89 V30 CC. I have the 6" with a dropped draglink and i serves its purpose for a mainly street truck.

I've got crossover on my K5 and its so much nicer. Eventually I will put in on the CC as well.

Give me a call or text. three six zero, nine six nine, five seven six two
