That's awesome. So is the exhaust going to dump out that fender?

Of course!

Turbonetics turbo, that's not very sloppy of you... I can only imagine the amount of fun that could be had in a boosted van.

I got the turbo very cheap when I bought an entire kit in Kentucky. It's the one I drove 24 hours to get because he wouldn't ship but was too cheap to pass up.

Lookin good Dan-o!

Killing it!

Thanks guys!

Started working on the truss and HD brackets last night for the rubicon 44 also. Accidentally ordered a dana30 truss. Hopefully I'll get that finished up tonight after work.

Now that I'll only be 45 minutes from home for work I can work 2 or 3 hours a night after a 13 hour day! :)

Yup thats how i've been doing it. Getting out at 9 after I put the kids to bed, then working to midnight. Get up at 5 to go back to work.

Got the rubicon rolled outside, still need a new lower link on one side, still not sure if the engine is good either haha, looks decent on the old blazer tires though, but the rear needs moved back a couple inches for them to fit good.

Also started taking out all the unneeded wiring on the van.

Hopefully have it running next weekend? lol no engine or trans in yet.

That Rubi does look good with them shoes on.

The front uses aftermarket brackets so the tire still fits the wheel well nicely.. the rear not so much, it leaves the stock arms in the stock location, so the lift with the short arms moves it forward too much, sawzall would help. But so would stretching the rear 10 inches. :) side project for another day.

Leaving it completely stock and only on like 6lbs of boost with the small turbo it will still be completely reliable but yield a pretty decent torque increase, probably have to get a decent converter too though.

Matt on the sloppy mechanics page made 450ish to the wheels on a stock 6.0 with a small turbo. Granted that didn't have as much drivetrain loss.

I think I need a turbo for the 6.2L in my wife's AWD Yukon XL Denali some day. I bet it would be lots funner.
I'd love to turbo my 6.2 Silverado. But honestly, start with a good tune on engine and transmission. The factory tuning is so lame on these. Even with just tuning the transmission it'll be so much more responsive in daily driving.
