cheap enough im not upset about the right hand drive, if i get the other one bought and this one sold i'll say
Got the other one bought, it doesnt even run and drive and i still paid more... but its a 2013 Sahara with about 50k miles. The original plan was to take the doors and top off the Right hand drive jeep and then just sell it and try to get some money back. But the local mail carrier is retiring his jeep cherokee, so im gonna start kind of high (still well under what it books for) and then see if i cant sell the right hand drive one to pay for both of them. then just buy doors and a top for this one because at that point i'll have no money in it.
The Bad. the oil pan is cracked open on this one. im hoping that the guy at the yard hit it with the loader, because thats really what it looks like, and the keys were gone out of it. So that makes me think when they hit it they took the keys out so no one would start it with no oil. but worse thing i have to rebuild the motor or find a pullout, which still doesnt scare me.
I also hope that everything still works. because it was a pretty expensive gamble. cheap for a 32k jeep, but not for one that is junk.

Do yourself a favor. If you want a hardtop, find one someone is selling locally. Aftermarket sucks, and OE is like 5k... If a soft top go with a bestop and call it done.
Better just get one of these for it if it needs a motor....
Used hardtop are anywhere from 2-3k. Ill just find another wrecked jeep lol
Update: got to looking at the pan and then realized a rod probably broke and broke the pan, got it off and realized the bottom of the pan had water in it and froze and broke it, everything looks fine. I think I'm gonna order a new pan and hope the engine is ok. If not I'm only out a couple hundred and can find a new shortblock or complete used engine. Lots to do before Valentine's Day. Headed to Iowa right now to get the right hand drive one. So I can at least put doors and a top on it to take a picture and send it to her on Valentine's Day since I won't see her.
then posted on facebook looking for an air locker before i bought one, and the owner of sketchy vert had a yukon zip locker with the pump and all the wiring/switches, he told me hed take $350. this is probably going to be the cheapest high pinion dana 60 with an air locker ever. haha
the locker was removed because he thought it broke, turns out the people that installed it didnt do it quite right and the copper line broke off. but he had already replaced it when he found that

Also started getting rid of the rear AC lines, so i went to local LS-powered-vehicle-junkyard (outside the shop) and found some lines to get rid of the T for the rear A/C

All the rear AC had to be removed to fit the larger wheel well. And it was all broken anyway. It will still have he front AC which should be plenty.
