linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

Wired up both fans, replaced the rear caliper and mounted the rear sway bar. Only drove it around the block before I loaded it but it makes a huge difference. I need to move the links to the outside of the arms though. If these arms were straight like they’re supposed to be it would be about perfect.

I guess close enough, I really need to get a shifter mounted. I just don’t have the ambition to rip apart the interior. So I just leave it in 4 low. I have tomorrow off work now apparently so I’m gonna head out to Colorado tonight and maybe even do some wheeling tomorrow.

I once saw a guy use a sawzall on the floor of his truck while out on the trail in order to be able to shift in 4lo, so I'd say you are better than that guy...

Skip to the bottom for the wheeling part

Long story short. Left for Colorado with the Escalade Thursday night. Had a flat tire on the way, east fix. Got there at 2am. Friday around 5 we headed out to find a hotel near holy cross, the 396k mile ford died al the sudden, I assumed it was the cam sensor, luckily we had brought the Jeep too so we took that. Made it to Napa at 6:58(they close at 7) got the sensor, swapped it, started right up. Drove to the hotel. Met up with the guys the next morning, wheeled all day then parted ways with them to head home. Brake caliper bolt came out on the Jeep and the caliper went through the rim, no problem, the spare is in ....Nebraska... tried for 2 hours to get the Jeep and Escalade on the trailer, both ways it was about 6 inches to short(insert joke)(insert joke about insert joke) so we left the Escalade on the side of the road and drove 3 hours home to drop off the Jeep and go to bed. Got up this morning(Sunday morning) at around 10, went and got the Escalade, had to stop several times in the mountains to let the ford cool down and for 3 wrecks, took the Escalade and trailer to my friends place north of Denver. Drove down to Denver to drop off the fiancé, picked up a breadvan my dad bought, took it up to my friends place to grab the trailer and Escalade, drove to my camper in Nebraska and just got here at 4:30, showering and heading to work. According to maps what I drove today should’ve taken 9-10 hours, it took me about 18.

Now the wheeling, Escalade did pretty decent. Definitely need to finish up the rear sway bar and get it hooked up, I Unhooked it for the trail. I also definitely need to lower it a couple inches. And then maybe... build a new rear driveshaft... dropped onto a rock while I was on the throttle about halfway up holy cross. Left it there then drove it back on the way down.

This didn’t vibrate on the drive back... in 4low... at 35-40mph...

Dude I'm sure you've seen it but since you posted some of your wheeling pics with the caddy on IG it's getting reposted heavy. The masses on the gram like it. Good work gets recognized, that proves it. We already knew that of course but good job. Can't wait to see what other demented stuff you come up with.

I’ve gotten almost 1000 followers in the last 24 hours. It’s crazy! Thanks for the kind words too! I appreciate it.
