Locking factory temp sender connector?

Follow up. Astro's weren't the only ones that went to the locking temp senders.

Local wrecking yard had a bunch of '88+ C/K's. Seemed to be no rhyme or reason to it, but some (all 90's I looked at) had the locking connector, some did not. Same green wire as earlier.

Will be swapping over one of these days. :)
 
I know when my S10 Blazer was stock it had a 2 wire temp sender. One wire was for the gauge and the other was for the check gauges light on the dash. Mine was a dark green wire and green/white stripe. Also the 4.3 Vortecs in the newer Blazers and Bravdas have a sending unit with the wire made on, and then a plug.
