So, I know that parking lot, isn't there a Supermarket of somekind right there also? On the Right is were you want to meet, right? I will get there before 9:30 so I can get some trail food before we head up the hill. If I'm thinking of the right parking lot that is!!

well the Phat Fat kid can't go. i got a terrible oil leak and my rear end is about so shake the truck to death. I have been too bogged down in projects at work so i REALLY need to do it this weekend. have fun and take pics

YES there is A Godshocks Department store (It was a <font color=red>K</font color=red>-<font color=blue>Mart</font color=blue> for a long time). and a Longs Drugs (i think) Maybe its a Safeway Grocery Store. We can Meet in the Center of the Juncktion Parking lot (right hand side of 108) between 930-1000am.

We shal see? I'm gonna leave that part open! I'm only an hour or so away from Sonora. So it's perrty easy to head home. I'll find out when my wife is planning on comming back home, sat night or sunday. Then I'll take it from there!

sorry guys I can't go (want to though DUH) but wife didn't get to spend anytime with her mom last weekend(here from florida for the weekend) so I NEED to watch the rug rats... My son is up for it but not my girl..well have fun and take many pics.

I just finished putting new bearings and a rotor in, broke a damn nut and ground the hell out of everything. Now just hubs! But still planning on being there! Got a tobogon lined up! Can't wait...

Well, I'm thinkin 7:30-8 from my house that should put me in Sonora around 9ish then I wanted to run into the store and get grub,snaks,drinks &amp; stuff for the day. Then just kickit from there until everyone gathers.
I've got pretty much a straight shot to Sonora from my house on 108. I'm gonna go thru Riverbank/Oakdale route duno if that would be backtracking for you or what?

Yellowmoon, I don't have any hubs for ya but California Off-Road would. They are on Kansas near 99 on the West side of 99. Your more than welcome to join me for a caravan!?

bakersfield, huh? i think i remember you saying that you visit there occasionally.
hey fellas, what would be the most likely cause of a vibration only during accelaration? at first, it was only in the 45mph range, but now it's noticeable much more often. if i kinda coast downhill in drive, it smooths out (well, at least as smooth as an ol chevy gets!), and as soon as i give it gas, it starts.

I would totaly start by checking your U-joints! If you grab your drive shaft and if it moves at all side to side repalce the Ujoints! Or just buy new ones go wheelin and when they POP do a little trail side repair...... Mabie they just need a squirt of grease??

Also Check the 4 main bolts that connect the T-case to the Tranny adapter. Mine were so loose they where only finger tight. Talk about the scarest (sp) thing ever. If not check the YOU-jouints.

If I'm not mistaken GM put in plastic plugs in to hold the You Joints in. So you need to take it to a driveshaft or mechanic shop. and pay the MAN. I think it cost me 50-90 bucks to get both of my shafts done.

Ok a K5? I have thoes plastic plugs on my 98S10....

O Ujoint is not all that hard but if you have neverdone it, it can be frustrating.
All you need is a vice,snapring pliers,hammer and a socket you can beat on! Or a shop press is even easier, I have one now!
I will be home working on my truck Friday if you wana drive out after work we can swap um out in no time at my house??

that sounds good. i have a prospective vendor coming by around noon tomorrow, maybe i can take care of him (get a free lunch), and then head east right after that.
