Look of my truck.

Those rims are going to be impossible to find. I've searched ebay, all the california craigslist and google.
Are there any other rims that look similar to those?

Nope, when it comes to this style it is a Weld Super single model or there is......who cares what else there is.... ;) Like I said, there are some floating around but a ton of people wanting them because they aren't produced anymore.

Just keep looking, I've seen some on Ebay before. BUT, 14's aren't practical at all, There isn't hardly diddly available for tires that are wide enough for them at a 35" or smaller, not to mention they are very hard on ball joints and wheel bearings. Regardless though, they do look awesome but I wouldn't daily drive a truck with 14's.

Here is a page out of the LMC catalog for grilles.

What is a good size rim for dd? Right now im using the stock 8" ones and they look really skinny.

Also I can't find the part number to order the new white parking lens. It only has the outer and inner lenses on the catalog.

Are you SURE you have 8" stock width rims? and not like 7"

i already mentioned in a previous thread, that the 8" wide rims are fine, if you can find one with shallower backspacing, it will kick the wheel out of the wheel well alittle, and give it a wider look.

OR you could just get ya some 14" wide wheels, with a 2.75" backspacing, and then you could look much like alot of people from the far south (and i don't mean redneck country):D

curious, are your stock wheels steel, or the aluminum ones?

What grill is that?

Mines a stull grill, it was a Christmas present 2 years ago, you have to cut out the plastic web part of your original grill, really easy to do though. I did it all with a die grinder.

12's, I'd likely run 12's on a daily.

I know what you are after, just like I was/am after. You want the widest, best looking rim without it being too rough.

12's are very daily friendly and you can run a ton more tires as lots of companies have 35-36" tires that are 14.50 wide, where thats just too narrow for 14's.

Also, 10's, 12's, and 14's from weld all have 4.25" BS IIRC, not some silly 2.75".

Can anyone tell me which part number the bottom light lens are on all of the quad lighting setups? I've been looking through the catalog but they only have the part number for the top two lights, not the bottom one.

JEK, no offence but go away. I'm not being an asshat, but your posts have been completely worthless in this thread (come on, you can admit it too:wink1: ) and not all the threads in the garage need to be about tubed chassis moon buggies.

So seriously JEK, a few of us that are into this type of stuff don't get very many opportunities to talk about dress up type stuff, so how about a little consideration and not make fun, or clog us up. I'd really appreciate it and am not making a joke, I'm asking as I know you are a nice guy.;)

yeah, that was pretty asshat-o-riffic. Sorry mang, I was tired and grumpy. Right after that post, I sent myself to my room. :thumb:

I wouldn't touch the fron grill. I really dig that style with the four light the way they are. Next to the '72 grill my favorite is the '84 style that is like yours. I'd take the top off and try to find a nice soft top. Also I like your factory bumpers as well but it seems if you use that truck for its intended purpose with those killer tires I would be investing ina winch real quick. Your rig does look sweet though. Good Job.
