Looking for a Maxxis tire dealer!!

Yes if I can find a dealer that will sell them. My local shop wants $380 a tire for 37"'s. Does maxxis not want to sell tires?
Thats the price dude, The 40's are $550 per tire. The only way you will get a better deal, is having a friend that is sponsored and has plenty in the garage:D Other than that, you gotta pay to play.

That is what turned me off to Maxxis tires. I would rather wait and get a 42" BFG Krawler......

My 42" TSL's were only $325 a tire......they may not win rock crawling competitions, but I don't remember the last comp I was in......

The ONLY reason I have them is because of the great deal I got.

They are the best tire I have ever seen and used on the rocks though.

Creepy's hook up really well in the rocks here in AZ too. Krawlers hook up well also but there sidewalls aren't as tough. The only way I will probably ever run either of them though is if I can get a set off a Comp. team for better then retail pricing.

I agree that the Maxxis' are a superior tire, but IMO the cost vs. benefit for recreational wheeling is not there

Retail price probably not. Just got to find some comp teams willing to give you a deal on some though and your set. I know for my buggy it will get either Krawlers or Creepys depending on what I can find used from a comp team for cheap. I would prefer the Creepys but would take Krawlers also. I will start with a set of TSL's cause I already have 3 I got for free, so for $500 I can have a nice set of 39.5" TSL's.

I have contemplated finding a set of comp compounds for the K5 too. :D We will see though. I need to spend money on other things before I spend it on Comp tires for the K5. The MTR's do pretty well as it is.

  Persistance pays off.:wink1:

Found 3 37's at Nebraska tire. $297.00 each and $25 each to ship. Ending up finding the last one at a heep site for $299 but hit me up $60 to ship one tire.

Time to :hack: and :weld: and :grind: to get them to fit with out rubbing or cutting.
