I don’t know if you could or not, never tried. I just store it like that.Yeah that’s awesome so you can use it horizontal and vertical when the tubing is too long for your shop space? That’s freaking sweet.

You definitely can if you drill that engine stand in order to mount it both ways.I don’t know if you could or not, never tried. I just store it like that.
Yeah I believe it. I used to mount mine to a half sheet of 1/4” plate in the dirt on the side of the house.that's sweet.. I do have an extra engine stand kicking around..
but I've just never been able to justify the upgrade for the amount of tube I bend when I have a mountain of parts to buy...
funny thing is, my concrete is questionable. and the stock base, bending 2", was too much and ripping the anchors out..
had to make this big fishplate to get that under control.... made it 45 degree clockable while i was there...

Yeah, technically the bender itself would work in any position, but with the jack ram it might suck air. If you had it connected to a real hydraulic power unit, then for sure you’d be golden. You definitely can if you drill that engine stand in order to mount it both ways.
Was it their dye? I would imagine something would be wrong with the dye. Surprised they didn’t send you another set. That’s ridiculous.I liked my Rouge fab till I started using it. Hopefully they figured out why there was 12% deformity in the bends. I went back and forth with them about setup and lube and everything possible. They finally admitted that 12% is acceptable. You could see it and feel in the bends where it deformed. I don't care what they thought was acceptable, it was not correct. I even just recently commented to them asking if they fixed the issue and was ignored. I wish you the best and hope you don't have the issues I did.
I was thinking if the centering hole for the die was slightly off center it could squish the tube. Causing that deformation. The spacing between the die and the follower can make a difference in the bend quality too. Could be a component in the bender slightly off spec.

Dang that’s crazy. And they didn’t send you a replacement. That says a lot.It did it with all the dies I had. I think the assembly was off. I had them do the welding of the kit. It was the wazoo model at the time, the HDExtreme yada yada model 2" 1/4 wall capable.
