Lost and Found - LS3 6L80 NP205 Full Frame Off

Well I tried to put the motor/trans in today.

Learned... Don't buy the holley clamshell ls conversion mounts.

That's all I can say about that.

I did get these bad ass motor mounts and HD front shackles from ORD put on.

My only win for the day haha

Thanks. I'm going to try BRP mounts and see if those work. If not maybe dirty dingo. I really don't want to mess with the cross member.

Also. Had a little win today. Helpful info from the forum and I got the rear leafs on. ORD springs are so soft they take some muscle to stretch them out and bolt them on. I'm so used to the carriage springs that don't flex they just bolt right up.

Good to see that you got it to bolt together. All that will change with weigh.
As for motor mounts I use energy suspension poly in the factory clam shells with dirty dingo on the motor and it all fit with no issues.

or i have a set of engine mount sliders i'll sell ya - not dirty dingo though, but meant for sliding the engine around... they've got better welds then dirty dingo. i'll send you a picture if you are interested.
 
Is it just me or are your mounts in upside down? The little alignment tangs should be straight up and down no?
 
No they were test fit on the motor before putting them on and I followed the instrauctions. They also match Tecks mounts.
