Lots of OLD Chevys, Brothers Truck Show today....tons of pics

Today was the brothers truck show, as usual tons of beautiful trucks. All trucks entered are pre-73 chevys. The yellow 67 with the concrete pump is used daily by an old man, pretty cool guy. All the people down there were awesome, I really enjoyed talking to some of them about their trucks.

I think I have a few more pictures on my computer at home, Ill go through them again and double check. I know I have a few more pictures of engines, theres something about blown big blocks that get me everytime. This truck here is way badass, the guy was way cool. And funny enough he lives only a few blocks from me. Can you believe he drove that thing from his house about 40 miles away? Its a 540 with some 18.5" wide slicks in the rear! he said it will do a solid 10.5" in the quater. The interior has some work into it, as many of these trucks do. But I love the way the cage in the interior is hardly noticeable and that oh Sh*t bar bar he has for the passenger is sweet. This is one of only two or so trucks that were not pre 73 and I dont think he could be in the actual judging with that truck, only come down there and show it off. Im glad you guys like these pics, its definitely something to go see. People have driven there clean chevys from nevada and arizona to show there trucks here.

Wow!..some nice trucks there for sure!!...I had a 56 Chevy 3200 series just like the black one,but mine had a yellow grille and bumpers,everyone called it the "Bumblebee"!..I love the older trucks best--that "snub nose" cab truck was the neatest one I've seen yet!..we had an old wrecker at the boneyard with that style cab..wish it wasn't so rotted,it would have made a sweet street rod..

Notice the 1960-66 years seem to be the rarest ones,even at shows?...they must have been the years that rotted away the worst,I hardly ever see any decent ones in my area..I like the 55-57 and 60-66 trucks looks the best,followed by the 67-72 years...

I saw a 72 K5 Blazer over the weekend here at the gas station as I was filling my mower gas can..,mint shape,hugger orange,and the guy had removed and filled in the rear side windows in the cap,so it looked like a short panel truck!..it was pretty sweet looking!..so was his wife/girlfriend riding shotgun..she looked a lot like Heather Locklear!..
