Lots of stupid in a Craigslist ad.

I am particularly digging the axles... I cannot count the sheer number of wrongnesses in that section alone.

Im liking it! I've always hated them stupid plastic geared 205s myself!

did he even need to state it has 4:88 gears? duh... everyone knows the 16bolt's come with 4:88's

The transfer case is an NP203 full steel chain driven 4:1:1 low ratio, way better than it's sister the NP205 which is pretty standard on trucks, those have plastic gears in them.

Plastic gears are a weight savings, right? :haha::haha:

wow. i only got to the axles so far, 5200 wtf.

total dumbass. check out that towrig. what does it matter if the engine was in a chevelle before the truck, it wasn't original in there, it was a crate engine???

did 202 heads even come on big blocks?? aren't those just sbc heads?? ha ha. wow

Looks like a steal, only $2600 for the truck with no axles:crazy:

Good thing he didnt mention the custom interior

Hate to sound stupid, but being new to this, I'm guessing there is no such thing as a 16 bolt axle? He is looking to sell it to a guy like me! All I know is that Tahoe the trailer is killing must be hating life.

Correct... no 16 bolt axles.

I don't even know where to begin but this is definitely the best part! :haha:
-Axles are 3/4ton corporate semi float 16 bolt. There is a detroit posi in the back and an Eaton in the front, the gearing in both axles obviously is 4.88:1. Both axles were bought from that truck yard out on the way to the playhouse on I-29 and then rebuilt by Eric at Ultimate Truck. They are indestructible and after it was all said and done it cost $5200 just for the axles.

The guy that sold him the 16 bolt axles for $5200 could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves.

And the bonus of having a 4:1:1 low range NP203 is just icing on the cake. I wonder if GM even knows if this truck exsists because they might want to invent some of this stuff to put in their trucks.

Seriously someone needs to call or e-mail this guy and start posting up... :)

His axle man saw a sucker coming.

I would have sold him some synthetic Muffler Bearings and a Case of Royal Purple Blinker fluid while i was at it. Hell I might have even thrown it in for free.

Unfortuneatly I know one like him. The one I know paid 800.00 and gave his mechanic a Perfectly good 2 bolt main Block for a Core, for a "4 Bolt Main" 350 Bare Block because his Mechanic said the Perfectly good 2 bolt main block he had was crap and that the two extra bolts would get him another 50HP. (With no other modifications).

A fool and his money are soon parted.

I just shot him an email, requesting more pictures, particularly of the axles and suspension system :D :haha:

YOU LIE! CK5 you lied to me! You told me that the 205 had metal gears and was the most bulletproof t-case ever built, and now I'm reading that the gears are plastic! I bet you'll tell me the 14bFF is the best rear axle known to man, huh? Well I've got news for you, I found one better. The 16b is obviously a better axle cuz I can spend over five grand and have a killer axle. That's better than your stupid 14b that can be built up for less than 2 grand!

:haha::haha::haha:

In case you didnt know, Husker Red is apperantly the best color ever!

At least the people in Omaha know where to find axles (truck yard on I-29) and that Eric at Ultimate Truck can build them better and charge half the price. I can't believe a type up like that and then has a picture of himself for all the other mechanics in the area to know who he is when he walks in.

He looks like a young guy it is sad if he was mislead and charged out the ass. The crooks in this world. It is still pretty sad if he imagined all this $hit and made it up in his mind. But he could still probably get a job at our local chevy dealership selling the cars.
