LS conversion new Trans on a 91 Blazer full size Silverado TRANS ISSUE

Sure is nice knowing that I will be able to have her back by spring. Does anyone have an idea of how to run A/C with LS Conversion? I don't have a recycle button is it possible to have that? Also do they have a kit? I have looked and no luck yet....

Beautiful truck! I believe Vintage Air has a Square Body kit and they have brackets and such for the LS

Thank You Greg,
I will give that a shot. My last shot will be SSBC all wheel disc brakes. After that is just cosmetic interior. Really looking forward to the summer. Basically my semi-daily driver and mountain, fishing, hiking toy...

The recirculation air is the "max" setting. I personally wouldn't buy a kit, I tried Vintage air in my '70 and didn't like it for multiple reasons. The square trucks have a good system, just fix anything and get a compressor mounted. My '90 can put out 20* air when the humidity is low and the cycling switch is stuck on.
The problem that you will have is the compressor. Lots of the aftermarket brackets use the R4 compressors like the original. Those aren't well know for being a long lasting unit. And some are noisy when new. But it should hook up to the factory lines no problem. I have seen a truck with Holley brackets on a 6.0 using all of the original style lines to the compressor.
I would use a new parallel flow condenser, even though they don't fit as nice as the factory one.

Ive installed multiple Old Air kits in trucks with both LS Swaps and normal SBC's. The only thing that changes between the LS and factory motor is the bracket. Otherwise its the same kit. Bonus is that you get a smooth firewall!

I still have the old compressor actually new because I had to buy a new one 2 summers ago. So just a new bracket will do I really don't care for recycle I was just under the impression you needed the new system with the newer engine model. Thanks for your help!
