LSX454 swapped 95 BASS burb.

Little lower, little cooler, bigger sounds.
That's just the scale Holley puts in. I'm going to change them and make the target scale and AFR scale the same.

Is that little orange spot in the idle area what you were talking about?

I was going to transfer the learn table to the base fuel, but didn't want to mess up that area is that orange spot is a bad thing lol.

I did go into my learn and set RPM to start learning at 950 just now.
With the VE your learn table is adding, you're up at like 110%, so the base numbers for the injectors may be off.
 
I'll check. But I know I put those in back when I first built this.
 
One thing that hasn't changed.... Unfortunately...

A wet pavement throttle smash made it do the thing again. Instant rpm through the roof, dead.

Every time it has happened my O2 reading said 32.

My O2 sensor is right at the junction of my header primaries.
Is it possible that it's actually overheating it or something....:dunno:. Like it's in full flame at that moment.?

I debated welding a bung a little farther back. Maybe 10-12" from there and see what happens.
My only worry about that is getting a truly sealed header to pipe connection so it's not getting false O2 readings.
 
It sounds like you are on the right track and its learning the correct way, its not adding fuel down low so it should be fine for now.

Take a data log when you do the throttle smash and send it to me.

Is the trans shifting too early for the new setup? Try putting it in manual low and see what happens. Make sure your max rev limiter is set correctly, be ready to bump 2nd.
 
Trans isn't shifting when it does the dead spot deal. It doesn't shift until like 50 when I'm WOT. The dead spot happens immediately after a dead stop to WOT.
AFR goes to 10 for a half a second, then it gets some air and goes apechit.
I planned on driving it around to learn some more and do a few logs today, so I'll get one.
I have one already but I made changes since that one.
I realized I still had my learn settings low from the last setup, so I upped them again yesterday. And I finally got the IAC dialed in'ish'.
The erratic idle of the cam makes it bounce around.
 
Well, from what your saying it sounds very rich on the acceleration enrichment. However, it would have to be really rich to completely kill it like that.

Take a data log and try it.

Also try reducing your acceleration enrichment rate, if it doesn't do it when you ease into it then that's definitely the thing to look at.

Compare the below to yours.

Three of the six acceleration enrichment tables are based on coolant temp, so they shouldn't be doing much when the engine is warm. Check those.

The other three do a lot. The first two are combined and the last one modifies the first one depending on the position.

The default LS TPS Rate table is below and the MAP Rate table is basically 0 - 30 lb/hr in a straight line.

However, when the throttle is already open over halfway, do don't need to add the fuel nearly as much at the same "rate of change" of the TPS. So the default LS table looks like this on that one...

The dieing thing, and the dead spot are 2 different deals.
 
The only one I ever changed was that AE vs TPS on the first setup.
And I put that back to stock settings now.
Maybe .2 off on any one point at least. The slider is hard to get accurate lol.
 
Slider is slow, you can also click on the numbers and change them individually, or you can interpolate, copy, add, multiply, etc.

If you want a straight angled line, just write in the first and last number, highlight them, and then right click and fill.
 
Won't do a power brake really yet. With the rear brakes shut off it'll break em free, but doesn't have the power to get em rolling. It just kind of spins em slowly. :dunno:

That doesn't sound right, it should definitely overpower the brakes unless you have some sort of super truck brakes or something. I have not had one toy that I could hold the brakes and mash the gas and it wouldn't just light them up.

I looked at the data log you sent me. Based on that alone, fueling looks ok, timing looks on par. I think you should take your plugs out and look at them to confirm it is running like it is shows.

I couldn't see the dead spot, it looks like there was a glitch in the CAN and it is missing .2 seconds or something in the beginning. So in that time you can ignore anything you see in the display live, as its likely not correct.

The MAP makes me think you have a small air cleaner or the sensor is positioned somewhere to get a venturi effect. Because your baro shows 100 kPa, but your MAP falls to 92 kPa at the upper RPMs, indicating either a restriction that's not letting the air get into the intake, or a venturi effect. I like to radius my MAP sensor port on the intake side to prevent a venturi if possible (false reading). May not be possible on this intake.

However, this is only a factor in the upper RPMs, it shouldn't be killing it so bad it won't overpower the brakes.

I looked into this.
I'm guessing holley already had the numbers in their system, since the injectors I have are in the Terminator X drop-down menu.
But the only numbers you can even change are Off time. Which I'm assuming is DEAD time.
I can not find the dead time specs for these injectors anywhere.
I found one number for dead time at 14 volts.
But the OFF time in the Terminator is a full slope. So not just one number:dunno:

The only other thing I found that has to do with injectors was this, but that graph is auto populated by your cam info

It has the biggest brakes you could get in this platform. Like 13.5"x3.5" drum. But they were shut off by the solenoid I put in when I tried. So shouldn't have been affecting it.

I'll pull a couple plugs and take a pic.

The dead spot I mentioned is in that log. The RPM at the beginning. It's not as pronounced as it had been. But before this change it was always a straight ramp UP. Now it jumps up, flattens out, then climbs again. I thought converter, but it happens way lower than that in RPM.
It'll squeal the tires for a half a second, dog out, then take off.

Air cleaner is a 9"x6" K&N cone filter with a full 4" tube from it to the TB. MAP sensor is stock location for the L92 intake. Which I believe is in the cylinder 1 runner. By the looks of where it's at and the shape of the intake.

It IS just before 3000rpm, so maybe it's the converter catching and the engine still doesn't have enough power to launch it's fat ass.:dunno:

But if you track the AFR, I hit the gas, engine picks up RPM, AFR hits 10 or lower, RPM falls off, AFR pics back up, RPM goes up...
