LSX454 swapped 95 BASS burb.

Little lower, little cooler, bigger sounds.
Ok. I'll try that. I hit that spot and killed it passing a truck the other day the one day I took the wife out in it.
I kinda had a few days where she did all the driving.
I might get back to driving soon though.

So in that log it would have already been set to diagnostic 1 also. Because I've never changed that.

Ok, that's strange because Diagnostic #1 doesn't show anything changing, but diagnostic #6 does, every time the RPM signal drops out, which started at ~5900 RPM, the diagnostic 6 counts go up, repeatedly....

I would call Holley with that info...

When it gets painted those will come off.

I've already been told it will never be a sleeper lol.
My neighbor says when it's in the shop driveway idling it vibrates his chair :thumb: .

But I am thinking of hiding some ghost letters in there that will only give things away in the right light, to people that know the right things lol.

Incase no one notices the size of surroundings you could put 2 or so of the burb in that burb circle.

Works for me sorta. I'm a bass nut and boost noises are usually high pitched lol.

So, I got this out for a quick drive across town a couple days ago.
Feeling better some :waytogo:
And..... Well.... I got on it once pretty hard, and when it shifted into second, it kind of felt like it didn't shift.
Pretty sure it was a full on slip :doah:
F**k!
After that, it didn't do it again. But.... Pretty sure.

I'm switching back to dex 3 tomorrow.
And I'm going to drive it, drop it, drive it, drop it, etc, like 4 times or so to make sure I get as much as possible changed back.

It's a hail Mary fingers crossed action.
But I'm gonna do SOMETHING.
It takes 5qts per drop. I got a 5 gallon bucket at O'Reilly's for $100. Worth it if it saves the trans.

And, crappy pic, but... it looks good paired up in the shop with the olds.

That's a bummer, do you think your guy will stand behind it? It seems like you just put that trans in?

Probably not, since it's in a fun truck and not controlled by the factory tune.
But I can ask....

I was going to try and call Holley today.
I tried to get on the Holley forums and it glitched me right on out. Not even sure if I can re try.

Went through the whole registration. Got the email saying click here to finish. Clicked it and it took me back to Holley with a message that it didn't recognize my username. So I tried signing in and it said it doesn't recognize my email. Even though they just got done sending me an email. :doah: :dunno:

Promising results.
After the 3rd fluid drop today it started feeling different shifting into second. It only really slipped good the one time. But the 1-2 has had a weird like 2 tap feel for a bit since the swap. It's back to a quick bang.
I haven't pushed it hard yet.
I'm going to drive it in the morning and drop it one more time. Then it'll have a full 5 gallons through it. And I'll see what it does from there :dunno:

Old fluid smelled burnt sorta and was dark. But no more sparklys.

I don't think they're necessary really.
Lot of money. And this one is "supposed" to be built for more than I can throw at it.
Really a stock 4l80 with the pressure duty cycle turned up should handle 650hp.
So I'm not sure what's up.

I wish I'd never tried the dex6 though. Still think that was the cause of this. Never be able to prove it though. That r the massive super banging 1-2 this has :doah:
Dude was telling me all about how tire chirping shifts just break stuff, so I said just make it so it'll handle 850-900 HP and I'll control pressures and shifts with the computer then. And I get it, with a super explosive 1-2, even with the duty cycle at 45.
Now the duty cycle is set for 5 all the way on every shift. And it's slipping or stuttering.

I'm going back for him to drive it, and show him where my DC is at. See what he says.

I looked into a manual that would handle this power in this truck at play time shifts and it came up to like $17k

How? I’ve seen countless OEM nv5600’s and 4500’s stand up to double digit 4wd boosted launches behind 1200+tq diesels.
