Went to the pick'n'pull in Calgary on Monday for some quality time alone :D had a semi-productive day. I was parked way off to the side long ways from any other vehicles, and when I came out to leave there was a Furd manual tranny and NP205 sitting there behind the curb about 20 feet from my truck. No footprints, tire tracks, or other vehicles anywhere near it, so I unbolted the adapter from the tranny and threw the 205/adapter into my truck.

Never seen a Ford 205 at either of our pick'n'pull's, and first one I see is free!! Now to figure out what to do with it . . . .

You're lucky to live so close, our pnp here in Edmonton is pretty good too but WAY more trucks and 4x4 trucks particularly down in Calgary.

There are 3 GM 6.5TD trucks there right now, turbos are missing but everything else is there . . . . if it interests anyone :D

the only bad thing is they have a pretty high turnover rate, it seems that they are sending a few rows to the crusher every week, lots of good rigs go fast

I've got the axle, just need some SRW hubs, and have had a heck of a time trying to find some...

I wish!! I saw an '88 K30 crew cab SRW in the Calgary pnp ONCE, and it was missing the entire drivetrain already, engine/tranny/tcase/both axles. I was pissed :doah:There was a burned out '99 Ford superduty 4x4 there this time--with both axles gone again . . . .
