Converting my M1008 from 6.2 Diesel to LQ9 power
Rotors are done, waiting for the stub shafts to show up and then I'll swap to 35 spline and install my hubs, new seals and bearings repacked.
But he could tell his wife he saved money, he was expecting it to be a $500 upgrade, at under $100 his friend saved him $400! Isn't that what they would say?

I got the Spartan Locker installed today. I still need to make sure it's working correctly and then I'll button it up.

Don’t forget to get all the old silicone out of your bolt holes. I like to use compressed air but make sure you have safetyglasses on!

Anyone ever have to trim leaf spring bushings to make them fit between the rear spring shackles? I have to do this to make the bushings fit. I got. The old springs out but the new springs and bushings are too wide for the spring shackles. I got the spring eye adjustment plate installed on the new springs and I was going to installed them and. We found that the bushings are too wide.
Like front of front hanger bushings? All the rest should be the correct installed width

Is it just the rubber part or the sleeve too
Rear spring shackle hanger, sorry for the confusion, bushing and sleeve are same length. Just don't fit between shackles.
Well you can shave a little to make fit snug.
I would use flap disc
Did loosening the upper shackle bolt help?

The top bushings where fine, my neighbor made my bushings fit the way it is now. I'll upgrade to the Hog Back Fab kit in the spring as part of my re do of the Blazer bash to do list and get new bushings for the leaf springs. But this will work for now.
My 35 spline outers showed up, now I just need seals and U joints and I'm in business.
I didn't know they had a factory spicer 35 spline option.

I believe they are the stock outers for a dana 70
If I wanted to get some replacement parts for my warn premium hubs where do I get them?
