Lol you are right on that. The bumper doesn't fit well because I never adjusted the arms.Looks like your bumper is at an angle to the body, maybe exaggerating the lean-view from the front....?

Converting my M1008 from 6.2 Diesel to LQ9 power
These went through the flood, I just found them. Are they saveable? If so what's the best way to fix? Disassemble, clean then remove rust then grease and re grease and assemble? Does warn make the metal run that's rusty?
I would first wash of all the dirt then get a bucket of evaporust and soak overnight.
See what they look like after.
That bucket will serve you for a year doing the same for all parts that can fit in the bucket
they look like they might be. I think it's worth the effort, considering the price of new ones. at worst you'll have some spare parts.

I took advantage of ORD's 4th of July sale and ordered a new bumper for the M1008 today. I had a simmilar bumper on my old suburban. That was built by Kevin at Pacific Fab.
I was debating about that as well, but with our new house we needed new furniture so I had to wait. LOL.
I understand. new furniture that isn't junk is not cheap.
Nope. Momma (the wife) will be 46 this year and has never had new furniture. Long story short, she was a single mom for 15 years before I came along 5 years ago and done it all on her own. She done well for herself but this is her first new house and new furniture. Shes excited.
My wife is so happy about our new house, she made sure all the furniture we buy is good stuff. Making your other half excited about house stuff is a good thing.
