M1009 Standard Shift Build(Winter is coming!)

I actually love skiing crud. We did do a little hiking to get to some spots in the woods that hold snow a little better.

And most of what you are looking at that isn't white are rocks and small cliffs.

So your heater exploded :eek1:

WTF is that about???

I still don't know. :dunno:

I'm calling them in the AM.

I don't know what they will say, but some decent sleeping bags and my buddy's brand new ski helmet have burn holes. We are going to have to work something out.

I don't think they should be selling a product that has the potential to explode and rain down like its Sodom and Gomorrah.

Stephen, who is an electrical engineer, looked at it and was like "What the **** is this crap they sold you?" while we were wiring it up.

I spoke with the heater company. They are dcthermal.com if anyone is curious.

They asked when I had placed my order. I told them and was told "Oh yeah, this was part of a bad batch we got." Unfortunately I had to spend too much time on hold and had to hang up before the matter was settled as I was on my way too work.

It's starting to sound like negligence on their part.

Just call them back and apologize for hanging up, just tell them that it was finally your turn at the emergency room to have your burns treated and the glass fragments removed from their exploding heater:D

They won't be happy with the damages list.

In rough math it's around $1500 not including the heater.

Ski gear and winter sleeping bags add up quick.

:doah: That really sucks buddy. I hope they take care of you.

If not, I'm sure Deuling is available to keep you warm

Should I be scrapping my old ten bolt and the extra ten bolts shafts I have? I've had it up on Craigslist with no bites. I need the garage space back.

It took a few months to sell mine.
Btw I still have my 465 for sale since the summer. Only had one guy call on it in the 5 months its been listed. Really thinking about scrapping it, but what a shame to scrap a perfectly good tranny or rear end.
