M1010

I rewired my cucv (albeit a 1028, not a 1010) in about 10-12 hours of total labor, and for a cost under $200. New fuse block, all new wiring and connectors. Does everything I want it to. That part doesnt scare me, I basically count on new wiring from scratch with a cucv.

The 1010's have that funky electrical systems and those alternators. You'd definitely be money ahead starting from scratch with it.

About the cab.... I was given a 74 winnebago motor home thathe the camper part had a fire in the back. This was a regular C30 cab and chassis motorhome with the back wall of the cab cut for walk through. Anyway on to my point.

I WAS going to use the cab and modify a regular bed and fiberglass shell on a 4x4 chassis to be a mini motorhome sort of. In the end, I was offered $500 because the guy wanted the 454 and th400 so I took the cash cuz I was broke at the time.

Kinda a bummer now that I think about it I think the truck had less than 50K miles and the cab(other than the hole) and front clip was flawless.

You just few good burning up the roads at 45 mph in that M1010. I just gotta get some drab olive back on it because the neighborhood kids think its an ice cream truck.
