The interior is in great shape! I love the wood and for being built in 1970... It's quality work. Everything works well.

I like it, now I would like to see it in person. I've been thinking about something similiar for a while now, my current trailer isn't real off road friendly.

Thanks man! It's nice to have for those multiple day trips. I might sell it down the road for the right price, but for now I'm loving it! It does quite well off and on road.

Well, I have been thinking about something like that, with a couple of tents for the kids, then we could expand the areas we want to camp. Not necessarily the same unit, but I love the design. I guess I am goig to need to start watchign the sales to find something that would work, then I can finally put the old pop up trailer frame to use with a new axle.

First, you will need this:

Few weeks ago, there was a Fiberglass Alaskan Camper on ksl for $600.

Where in Utah do you live bro? I plan on hooking up and taking it in to get the wheel wells redone when I get back. Maybe I could drop by?

I mentioned before about the stock leveling jack in the rear of the M101a2 trailer. It sure helps a lot and comes in handy!

I live out in Grantsville, so it usually isn't easy to meet with people. Ask Iceman, he comes into my town once in a while but I can never seem to get together with him. I thought about doing the M102a trailer, but I have an old pop up that is shot and I have been thinking about using my 12 bolt that is coming out of the Blazer to beef it up for clearance then figuring out what I will do for a camper.

It would be fun to go down in your area for a few days and explore your trails:) Pm me your name and number so we can make plans:D

What is the mechanism like that lifts the upper portion of the camper? When its convenient, would it be possible to get a picture of that?

Thanks.

Hydraulic pump that raises 4 rods inside the camper. On the outside it follows a metal track. It takes only 30 seconds to lift it up and BAMB! Camp is set in 30 seconds:)

Yea I'm glad it's not electrical. The manual crank is great! It also has 4 safety pins that can be put in the rods incase of any failures. Never used them but they ate there:thumb:

I also have a Cobra 29 CB radio I'm going to put in next month. Since I can't sell it, I'm gonna make some use out of it.

Also wanna put a Flag mount on the back. I'm thinking of flying the Yellow "Don't tread on me" flag:D
