M1028- [under new management]

How rough is your dash pad? I may have an equally rough, but not red one.

Who do you suppose thought that red would look good with camouflage????

Martin

I don't need a steering wheel though! Anyway I know the four spokers ate valuable so I wouldn't want to put you out.

I love my dash pad! Or what's left of it anyway. Nobody ever notices a nice dash pad ;) However the "giddup straps" and then the sweet dash pad are always the first things people comment on when they get in my truck!

I always thought the red/maroon was pretty weird too. But it is a complimentary color on the old color wheel, and I think it's endearing for an old army issue truck to be a little color coordinating lol

Also now that I have a center console, I have four cup holders!! two in the dash in the speaker hole for non illicit beverages, and two in the console for the big boy drinks that I drink all the time :/

I really need some cup holders for my rig. I have none.

The steering wheels aren't so much for the looks (although they do look better), they are just a lot nicer than the spindly hard plastic OEM ones.

I was riding in a kids 1989 GMC V1500 Suburban last Saturday, and my exact comment was: "Wow, that is a nice dash pad". Seriously.

Touché, Sir. I spose maybe the general populace doesn't notice a nice one, but we do, because we expect them to be ****ty. Everyone notices mine because it is so far on the other end of the spectrum :D

John has a sweet wooden one in the dually he'd probably sell you for a couple hundred bucks. I'd say it's worth it since te construction is so nice and the material is really rare.
