M1028- [under new management]

You can buy what you want after you at least go to tuttle a couple of times.

Ever since I've had the thing I've said that it was just a stepping stone until I roll it or something- then it's k5 time. gotta get on it lol

I wonder if it has a title.

A K5 would be way better than an M1008.

Back seats are good. I don't like being very close to anybody so buckets don't bother me but being able to haul more than one person comfortably would be nice. And a convertible top would just be the cat's meow.

He tried it once with good results but the original "anybody" is bat **** crazy.

I would still bang you like a screen door in a hurricane, no matter how tainted you are.

The only pic I got today.. We're enjoying a refreshing treat after she tore up 2 miles of single track on her bike at wilderness park. I wanted to get some pics of her in action but she wouldn't stop long enough for me to get a decent pic lol.

Coming soon: Nap time and muscle pain!

SO.. John and I (Mostly John- I make him do most of the hard work) tried to press apart one of my rims that I want to use for the 47... aaand it seems like its gonna be way harder than I want to mess with. Plus the 47 rims are welded too and not riveted like I'd hoped. So Instead of trying to be legit and reverse some rims, Johnny suggested I try and find a set of M1009 CUCV rims to run on it instead, and then I could just run dog dish caps off of a car or something.

Anybody have any of these wheels? I know Marty's got some, but I don't expect him to part with them since they're on something he drives.

I've got a set of black powdercoated 16.5x9.75 stock style 8 luggers that I would trade.............

I suggested those wheels almost a week ago.....

Does anyone make reproduction wheels for those pickups?

Yea I guess you did didn't you... Man It's like you knew what you were talking about or something! I can pretty easily get the tunnel visions these days..

They do, but most of the repro "stock look" wheels are $$ that I don't have. I think I need to take a stroll thru U-pull it to see if they have anything.

Did you see my factory tach install thread? It has some useful info in it.
