The windows are fully removable. Look at the last picture (with the Jeep) and you can see that the lexan is not there. He puts them in the truck so he can install them if it gets too cold. That is cool! I even have easy access to clear Lexan...
Does he leave the "window" in all the time? I'd want to make it removeable.
what did they cover the little strip that the window bolts to with? if it's just the metal strip yo'd think it'd be hard on the arms. it looks like they did use something just curious what as to what
well it's welded in the second pic??I was thinking the same thing. They probably unbolt that part when the glass is out. Just my $.02
well it's welded in the second pic??

That's the way I'd do it.Do you know if the upper portion of the "glass" goes into the glass run like a regular window?

Or a grab handle might be nice. I see lots of people grabing the door and I can just picture the truck shifting over to the left and the driver crushing their fingers between the door and a rockAnother nice add on I've seen on half doors is a cup holder built in with a cozy to hold your favorite beverage.

remember this video off trucksgonewild.com where the guy has a huge truck and when it starts to roll he tries to get out. crazy vid. nothing scarier than that. had an uncle roll his truck with his arm out the window. didn't break his arm but put a good dent in the top of the cab.
