There's always next time for the Mounds.

And the BBQ dinner isn't planned yet, so you might be able to go.

i could possibly make it on a weekend, not a weeknight though. i got to get home and get to bed early. getting up at 4:30am sucks.
thats a good idea TJ.. how about saturday the 27th to give people more time??

that would work for me. i just need to figure out where this place is. its a little bit of a drive for me, but thats why i got the s10:wink1:

i'd like to do that and the 27th sounds like a good day for me.must check with my wife to be sure, though.it all depends on parenting schedules.is this a pick n' pull yard?i've got most of what i need(except a solid cab)but i'd help others to pull stuff.

its a couple miles south of I-96 on us-24(telegraph).telegraph is a divided highway.its pretty easy to find TJ. but when you go south on telegraph give me a call and i'll be waiting in the parking lot. the place is on the eastside of telly.

I'd be down for the 27th. Are wives invited, or is this a guy thing?

I'm off this coming weekend, working the 27th weekend, off Superbowl weekend. Maybe I can catch up another time, I'd really like to do the Mounds, (If ya let me bring my Jeepster). I know its a dirty word, but its all I got right now.

don't matter to me. just remember i have a 3 hour drive to that area.

sounds like its preaty easy to find, ive been north of 96 on telegraph, but never south.

Would the 3rd of Feburary work better for those who are iffy?
Here is the original thoughts. I wanna do mounds someday also with my brothers to the north!

SO like Boggerless and I are going to grab dinner and BS at the Bone Yard in Dearborn Heights on Telegraph Road in the next 30 days. Anyone who wants to join in is welcome. Heck if you need a beer we can go to the one on Plymouth Road.

This isn't the place for sloppy, fall-off the bone dripping in sauce kind of ribs. These ribs are big, meaty and tender with some chew still in em They are dry-rubbed, (You add the barbecue sauce, it's on the table). The flavor is superb. I've have never gotten tuff Grissely ribs and have gone there for years.

It is a family owned place and you can't beat the food. The coleslaw is so freaking good too. Heck I drive an hour to eat there and it is like 55 miles to it. A whole slab is $18.00 bucks but you get every penny worth.

They also have this enormous Cheeseburger that would feed a family of four!

So who is up for some BBQ?

I can come to bone yard boggerless om the 27 just let me know what time. I have to wait until income tax to get the new drive shafts and then I can put my new bed on. I hope to have the truck done in March, Its hard to work on the truck since I have Carpaltunnel on Dec 19 and Hernia surgery on Dec. 29, but it wont be long now.

Then I've probably seen yours, too! I've been living in this neighborhood for almost 11 years, now.

I'm good for any weekend to get my grub on. Just say the word. :D
