Michigan CK5-ers...

I need to finish my K5 first!
Plus I've been out of town for 8 days running now, going home today (Hopefully), so I need to spend some time with the wife and daughter in the coming 10days before I need to leave again.

The weather forecast for Sunday is turning crappy.

Anybody have any objections to possibly changing to Saturday?

Any of you michigan guys running 33's I have a set of 4 M.T. mud tires i need to get rid of they are on 6 lug 15 inch rims. Very cheap they must, just come get them. I send anyone a pic if you want one.

I already have a set that I'm not using. General Grabber MTs on 15x10 white wagons. Almost new. :D

Too bad you don't have a set of 35s on 16.5" wheels. I'd be all over that like a fat kid on candy.

For anybody who is going to the Mounds, the decision has been made to go tomorrow. It's going to be pretty much the nicest day of the weekend.

If anybody is interested, I finished my PS bracket and got the winch 90% installed. Still need to get the Detroit in. Hope I have time tonight!

I'd like to but am still aquiring parts for my junk.....and I'm working. Have a blast

Supreme70,goldwing2000:how cheap is cheap?,and i've got 35-14.5-16.5 that i'd be interested in swaping for 33-?-15 as long as the tread is still got alot of life.by the way, mine are ground hawgs and i really don't need that big of tire on my DD/work truck.the hawgs have 90% tread or more, one is a little weather checked but all hold air.let me know.thanks.oh,yeah!i work for a trucking company(PJAX Freight)and our Detroit terminal is in Brownstown, your both DET shipping points and the terminal manager is my ex-supervisor here in G.Rapids.that may be an asset to us.he might help me out once.

Do your 35s have wheels or just tires?
Two of the 33s I have are on the trailer in this picture (I do have a set of 4):

They have maybe 1,000 miles on them. E-mail me [email protected]

Oh, and if anybody decides to meet us out at Mounds tomorrow, that's the truck I'll be in (but with a different trailer). :D

Never did get the Detroit in the rear axle. I guess I'll just have to keep out of the really deep skank. :D

jones: sent you an e-mail.

You guys wouldn't want to get together for a meal some where like a meet n greet? Boggerless and I are going to do the Boneyard in Dearborne.

That'd be cool. When are you hitting the Boneyard? That's at Telegraph and Warren, right? It's actually in Dearborn Heights. ;)

If anybody else wants to go, HERE is the location, phone number, etc.

Oh, and a good time was had by all yesterday! I towed my buddies' quads up there and we met up with some other people and had a great time.

Kandy Kane (that's my truck's name) is covered with mud, inside and out. She never let me down, though! We almost got stuck in one deep mud hole but I just had to back up a couple times and try again.

She pulled a couple Heeps out of a huge mud ditch and tackled every obstacle I threw at her. She even "auto-clearanced" the front fenders, so I may not even have to hack them with a sawzall. :D

The only bad thing that happened (hat-over-heart) is that I let my concentration lapse and tagged a tree with the right front corner. Pushed the bumper back and wrinkled the fender. It was totally my fault. I told her I was sorry, so hopefully she's not mad at me. Honestly, I think the first trail scar gives her some character. She was almost too pretty before. :smirk:

I'll post up some pics as soon as my friend sends them to me. I took my digital still and digital video cameras and took a grand total of one picture. Just having too much fun to stop for photos. ;)

This is my one picture, taken pretty early in the day. The mud hole where I almost got stuck is just behind the truck, actually. It's funny... the whole field looks pretty benign but when one of the quads got stuck, the other guy was up to his waist in water and muck trying to help him get out! :eek1:

Yes thats the one no booze at it but we go for the BBQ. Boggerless and I are pretty much open on a day to meet greet and eat! What works for you? I have orders to bring a Boneyard Burger home (thing is like three pounds of meat) for the kid and little lady. Mmmmm BBQ

*shrug* It's your choice, man. The place is like five miles from my house, so I can go at a moment's notice. Pick a day and I'll be there.

There's always next time for the Mounds.

And the BBQ dinner isn't planned yet, so you might be able to go.
