I've been suuuuper busy with other stuff.
I have the metal layed out.
I just need to cut it to length, and tack it all together.
I've decided to use a steel frame, and skin it,
Rather than using the cut up topper as a lid.
Whole lotta useless work that was....

I know this is a late thought and I have no personal experience with the chalet, but what if you cut the top off and then take a foot or more out of it, and made it so it could accordion up on hinges with fabric sides? You know like the pop-up truck campers now a days. Low profile for trail and storable when not in use, then a regular top when not camping. Like I said I have no experience with them just wondering if possible? Or if anyone has even tried it. Don't they have kitchens and the such.
