This is a sweet concept! I was just thinking of getting rid of my hardtop too... Another bad idea floating around in my head. The only thing I don't like is how they supported the flipped over lid, looks weak to me... No campground lovin' up there for sure...

The hinge-mechanism... I swear, I meant the hinge-mechanism...

I'm also gonna use 1"-1.25" DOM, to tie the supports into the frame, through the hood.
Those skinny little twig things, look USELESS.
