yup, 1010, 1028 and a few others are also K30's. There was the regular one (M1008) the ambulance version, radio truck and a few others.

did the m1008's come with rear lockers that arent gov bombs
yes they came with detroit lockers in the REAR
some of the 1008 series trucks ( 1028's) also came with a lockrite style front diff as well
this is my new 1028 it only has 8600 miles on it and I paid $600.00 for it 4 months ago

Those were Trash-loks weren't they? I thought it was the ambulance versions that got the trash-loks?

yeah the 1028's and all the ambulances and "contact trucks" got them mine had a large radio body on it that bolted into the stock bed

so you paid alot because im prtty sure you can get them from the government auctions way cheap
not really mine runs and drives perfect a good runner usually goes for 1500-2000 on the Gov auctions peopl know what they are and what there worth
another thing about those auctions is that there as is where is and you dont know the actual condition of it until you get there
