milwaukee port-a-band & swag off road table kit

Used my new bandsaw today to cut the u bolts on my axle swap. Holy crap, went through like butter. Amazing, can't wait to use it more.

I guess the next thing Swag needs to make is a chop table for them. Mmmmm, three tools in one. Portable band saw, vertical saw table, and chop saw table.

its already made, if you have the coin.

I saw that, but I'm sure Swag could make one better and more quick release.

A band saw is the shat. I’ve bought two new chop saws in past years. Sold them both. Will never own a loud abrasive chop saw again. I Love my Porter-Cable port-a-band saw. It built many a things. Currently using it to cut conduit tubing for all the electrical work for powering up the equipment in the machine shop. I do have a full size 20” old Rockwell/Dekta band saw. I just have no power to it yet so it has not been used....yet.

Always clamp your round bar material so it doesn’t spin when trying to cut through it. It will destroy the teeth right off the saw blade or break the blade if the material spins on cut entry. Don’t try and hold it from spinning before you bandsaw through it. Clamp the material alowing the clamp to rest against the saw table surface, keeping the material from spinning as you cut into and through it.

For a chopsaw replacement a evo carbide saw is awsome, no smell and clean cuts through super thick stock. I have the same swag setup and its been going strong for years now. Love it. Wife wanted a star for the xmas tree so i whipped this out on the Milwaukee swag setup. Little saw saved my life lol

Just bought myself the Milwaukee band saw with some Christmas money.

Stoked to try it out.

Way too much metal cutting with a grinder last few weeks.

you get the table kit and your golden for all the little cutting / fab jobs . I try and use mine for anything I can fit in it .

Stretched a bit thin this time of year, but hoping to get the table soon. Just the saw for now, have been eying one for years, but have yet to try one out yet.
