Customer service and tech support were both good and responsive. I got the SS Mega Monster 700r4. Haven't had any issues.

Cool, thanks for the input they seem to have a good rep on the net from what I've seen

Does that 4L80E come with a stand alone controller, or have they changed something so a controller isn't needed? Seeing as it's built to withstand engines up to 1000 hp I don't see it as "Stock replacement"...

I know this is an old one..... But I am looking to order a rebuild kit and I am wondering who has dealt with this company?:dunno: How is there product? Customer service?

buddy of mine got one for his mid 90s suburban. ( i think 700r4, but what the hell do i know)

he said the first one he got something was wrong, (think it was the pump but cant remember) they sent him a new one ricky tick. and he loves it now. has it tuned stiff so he can chirp 2nd on a stock 5.7 with almost 300k on it.

Talked to thier tech guys through email and they were not only very fast in responce but they were beyond helpful. If the product is even half as good then i would be happy. They for sure made a customer out of me, and i never even purchased anything, ha ha.

Well I might be ordering one of the rebuild kits soon. I will let you know how it goes.

I ended up ordering one of there 4L80E's its in the crate still though lol it'll be another few months before I get down there and install it

I just placed the order for the 700R4 Monster in a box! $474.00 with free shipping. I have a guy that is going to do the rebuild for $250.00. His boss lets him do side jobs at work. He works at a good tranny shop here. Now I need a big cooler, and a new converter. Should be back on the road sometime soon. I am in a Veterans Day parade and will have a few Vets riding in the Burb in the parade, So, I need to get it going.

I dont know, But I am replacing mine. I might as well. I dont want to take a chance with the old one.

I think the idea is if you build your tranny, then that makes your trq converter the next weak link, if it isnt already. i'm planning on new one with rebuild for sure.

Well, Im getting a good one, I just dont know which one. I dont know what stall speed to get yet.
